Mangalyaan-2, or Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) 2, is a planned Mars orbiter that will carry on the legacy of Mangalyaan-1, another Mars orbiter. The orbiter will enter an orbit suited for observations by using aerobraking to reduce its initial apoapsis. To better comprehend early Martian crust, recent basalts, and boulder falls, the mission will contain a hyperspectral camera, a high-resolution panchromatic camera, and a radar.
