Currently in development and production, Türksat 6A is an indigenous communications satellite that will be operated by Türksat A.S. It is scheduled for launch in June 2024 and will be Turkey's first communications satellite to be constructed entirely locally.The satellite is scheduled to be launched using a Falcon 9 rocket.With a minimum 15-year on-orbit lifespan anticipated, it will be deployed in a geosynchronous orbit at 42° East.
