Soyuz-2

Company: Roscosmos

One of the well-known Russian launchers, Soyuz-2, started the space race over 40 years ago when it launched Sputnik, the first satellite into orbit, and Yuri Gagarin, the first man to travel into space. Soyuz-2 will be more capable than its predecessor, Soyuz-1, carrying up to 3 tonnes into geostationary transfer orbit instead of the 1.7 tonnes that can be launched from Kazakhstan's Baikonur.
