This MiniRAFS from Safran Group is a Space-Qualified Atomic Clock for LEO, MEO, and GEO orbits with a design life of more than 20 years. This atomic clock has an output frequency of 10 MHz and a maximum short-term frequency stability of 1 x 10-11 (1 sec). It has a phase noise of -135 to -64 dBc/Hz and a return loss of greater than 20 dB. This miniaturized atomic clock has harmonics of less than 30 dBc and spurious signals of less than -80 dB. It requires a DC supply of 15.5-16.5 V and has a power dissipation of 10-15 W. The atomic clock has a mass of 0.45 kg and measures 53 x 67.5 x 107.5 mm. It is ideal for applications such as space scientific missions, secure satellite communications, tracking and guidance control, and advanced low satellite orbit digital communications.
