The ALKU50 from Amkom Design Group Inc is a Ku-band Block Up Converter with an operating RF frequency of 13.75-14.5 GHz and an operating IF frequency of 950-1450 MHz. It consists of a local oscillator with a frequency of 12.80 GHz or 13.05 GHz and has a rated power of up to 50W. The BUC has a gain of up to 72 dB and a VSWR of 1.5:1 (input and output).  It has a phase noise of -160 to -55 dBc/Hz and an in-band and out-band spurious of -60 dBc. The BUC supports RS-232, RS-485 plus Ethernet interface, and N-type (50 Ohm) or F-type (75 Ohm) IF connectors. It features built-in HPA overdrive circuit protection, ultra receive band reject filter, and anti-vibration technology. The BUC has a mass of 1.6 Kg and measures 166 x 100 x 76.2 mm.
