The COBRA HPX from Tethers Unlimited is a Space-Qualified Gimbal with a pointing accuracy of up to 0.5 degrees and a slew rate of up to 30 degrees/sec. This mechanism has a payload capacity of 1.25 Kg and a system mass of 0.45 kg. It has a working range of +/- 75 degrees (elevation) and a continuous azimuth of 360 degrees. The mechanism has a radiation tolerance TID of up to 50 kRad and an operational power of 7W. It measures 115 x 69 mm (diameter x stowed) and is ideal for communication antennas, sensor instruments & propulsion devices.
