The ASTRIX 200 from Airbus is a Space-Qualified Inertial Measurement Unit that is designed for GEO orbit with a design life of up to 15 years. It has a power consumption of up to 7.5 W and a dynamic range of 5-15 deg/sec. This fiber optic IMU takes a DC supply of 22-50 V with bias stability of 0.0005 deg/hr. It has a mass of 12.7 Kg and supports an RS-422 data interface. It offers outstanding performance with 1 arcsec/hour class of accuracy noise from low to high frequencies and has four independent angular rate detection axes in a skewed configuration. It is FOG material compatible with optical payloads. This MIL-STD-461-compliant IMU measures 295 x 150 x 145 cubic mm and is ideal for defense and avionics applications, and broadcast.
