The IMU 42 from Cielo Inertial Solutions is an Inertial Measurement Unit with a gyro angular random walk of 0.02 degree/√hr and scale factor stability of less than 150 ppm. This IMU has a dynamic range of +/2000 degrees/sec and an accelerometer threshold of 10 µg. It has a data rate of 100 - 4800 Hz and supports SDLC and RS-422 interfaces. The IMU employs the latest closed-loop fiber-optic gyro (FOG) and linear rebalanced accelerometer technology. It requires a supply voltage of 5 -15 V and has a power consumption of up to 15 W. The IMU 42 has a mass of 0.84 Kg and occupies a volume of 0.45 liters. It is tested and combat-proven on a variety of operational applications, such as rocket systems, accurate munitions, payloads, UAVs, and civilian aircraft protection systems.
