The CMA-82+ from Mini-Circuits is a Wideband Space-Qualified Ceramic Amplifier with a frequency of DC-7 GHz. It has a typical gain of 15 dB and a high IP3 of 42 dB. This monolithic amplifier requires a DC supply of 5 V, an operating current of 160 mA, and thermal resistance of 93 degrees C/W. It has a reverse isolation of 23.4 dB, an input power of 20 dBm, and a power dissipation of 0.84 W. It uses patented Transient Protection Darlington configuration and is fabricated using InGaP HBT technology. The MMIC amplifier is bonded to a multilayer integrated LTCC substrate and then hermetically sealed under a controlled Nitrogen atmosphere with gold plated cover and eutectic Au-Sn solder. It is capable of meeting MIL requirements and has been tested for hermeticity. This RoHS-compliant amplifier is available in a surface mount package.
