The RL3-572672 from Narda-MITEQ is a dual 1:1 Redundant Line Amplifier System designed to ensure uninterrupted signal transmission in satellite communication networks. It operates over a frequency range of 5.725-6.725 GHz and provides a minimum gain of 30 dB with options for higher gain configurations. The system features a fault-tolerant design with automatic or manual switchover capabilities allowing a standby amplifier to take over seamlessly in case of a fault in the online unit. It includes fully redundant, hot-swappable power supplies for enhanced reliability and supports remote control via RS485 or RS422 interfaces with optional RS232 and contact closure control. The amplifier system delivers a power output of +10 dBm at 1 dB compression and maintains a low noise figure of 4 dB. It has an isolation greater than 50 dB and an input return loss of at least 20 dB. The amplifier system has advanced monitoring features such as amplifier current fault detection, off-line input/output access and time-stamped alarm history for diagnostics. It requires a supply voltage of 90–250 VAC and has a power consumption of 40 W. This amplifier system weighs upto 9.17 kg and measures 19 × 1.75 × 22 inches.
