The CMD255C3 from Qorvo is a Space-Qualified RF Mixer designed for up-and-down converting applications in the RF frequency range of 16-26 GHz. It has an IF frequency range of DC to 9 GHz and a low conversion loss of 6.5 dB. This fundamental mixer has a LO-RF isolation of 40 dB and an RF-IF isolation of 30 dB. It has an input IP3 of 24 dBm and an input P1 dB of 14.5 dBm. The mixer can operate with an LO drive level as low as +15 dBm and has a noise figure of 6.5-7 dB. It requires an RF/IF input power of 25 dBm and has a thermal resistance of 265 degrees C/W. This Pb-Free RoHs-compliant mixer comes in a 3 x 3 mm SMT package and can be easily configured as an image reject mixer or single sideband modulator with external hybrids and power splitters. It is suitable for applications such as electronic warfare (EW), Ku-band radar, K-band radar, space, SATCOM, and test and measurement.
