The SP0 from Aitech is a Satellite On-Board Computer (OBC) that has an MPC8548E PowerQUICC-III processor with a processing speed of 1.17 GHz and 333.3 MHz of core complex bus (CCB) speeds. It has a redundant 512 KB EPROM boot memory and supports Ethernet and RS422 interfaces. This system features five single-ended TTL I/O lines, four high-performance DMA engines, four internal CPU timers, three independent watchdog timers, PPS timing sync port and three onboard temperature sensors (excluding Series 500) with front panel connectors. It provides an on-board functionality combined with a low power consumption of 10 W. The system is ideal for use in low (LEO) and medium (MEO) orbits and geostationary orbits (GEO).
