The CD5731 from ISOCOM is a Ceramic Hermetically Sealed High-Gain Optocoupler that operates with a forward voltage of up to 1.7 V. It has an input current of 1.6 mA and supports a continuous forward current of 10 mA. This optocoupler offers a minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) of 200% and provides a typical data rate of 100 Kb/s. It has fast switching with propagation delay times of up to 12 µs (tPHL) and 60 µs (tPLH) when tested with a 5 V supply and 5 mA input current. This optocoupler is available in through hole package that measures 9.77 x 7.87 x 9.39 mm.
