The CSM168-4 from ISOCOM is a Ceramic Hermetically Sealed High-Gain Optocoupler designed for reliable signal isolation in space and high-reliability applications. It operates with a forward voltage of 1.7 V and supports an input current of 16 mA with a continuous forward current of up to 20 mA, ensuring stable and efficient performance. This optocoupler provides a minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) of 9% and a bandwidth of 3 MHz, enabling effective signal transmission in high-speed electronic systems. 

It features fast switching performance with propagation delay times of up to 0.3 µs when tested with a 5 V supply and 16 mA input current, making it suitable for precision control and communication circuits. The device is housed in a hermetically sealed ceramic package, ensuring durability and reliability in harsh environments. 

This through-hole package measures 10.92 × 22.80 × 2.80 mm, allowing easy integration into a wide range of electronic systems requiring robust isolation performance. Compact and reliable, the CSM168-4 optocoupler is ideal for space applications, aerospace systems and high-reliability electronic circuits requiring efficient signal isolation and fast switching performance.
