The STPS40A150CHR from STMicroelectronics is a Space Qualified Diode with a forward current of 2 x 20 A and a forward voltage of 0.560-2370 V. It has a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 150 V and a reverse current range of 1.3-14 uA. This diode has a non-repetitive peak forward current of 220 A and a junction-to-case thermal resistance of up to 1.3 Degrees C/W. It has a junction capacitance of 310 pF and a low forward voltage drop of 0.79 V. The diode is assembled in a TO-254AA hermetic package and is screened to comply with the ESCC5106/024 specification. It has a radiation tolerance TID of up to 3 Mrad (Si) and is SEB tested up to 61.2 MeV.cm2/mg. The diode has a package mass of 9.4 g and is ideal for aerospace applications.
