The SpaceNXT 160QT from Smiths Interconnect is a Space Qualified Phase Stable Coaxial Cable Assembly with a maximum frequency of 40 GHz and a nominal impedance of 50 Ohms. This cable assembly has a velocity of propagation of 80 % and shielding effectiveness of more than 100 dB/ft. It has a capacitance of 23.3 pF and an attenuation of 0.341 dB/100ft. The cable assembly is constructed using Solid SPC material for the inner conductor and Foam Fluoropolymer for the dielectric. It is equipped with ETFE radiation-resistant jacket materials which meet the outgassing requirements of NASA and ESA. The cable assembly has a mass of 3.68 Kg and a minimum bend radius of 12.70 mm. It is ideal for satellite communication and navigation applications.
