The MCDD Series from Positronic is a Space Qualified RF Connector with an insulation resistance of 5 Gohm and an initial contact resistance of 5 mohm. This connector has a working voltage of 300 V and a proof voltage of 1000 V. It is constructed using PBT material for the insulator, copper alloy for the contact, and a 50 µin gold over nickel or copper underplate for signal contact plating. This RoHS-compliant connector uses an aluminum/stainless steel shell material with an electroless nickel or stainless steel passivated shell finish. It meets or exceeds the performance requirements for NASA Goddard GSFC-311 and MIL-DTL-24308. The connector has a mechanical durability of 500 cycles and is ideal for military, aerospace, and spaceflight applications.
