The ThinSat Ka500 from ThinKom is a Ka-band Phased Array Antenna with a transmitter frequency range of 27.5-30.0 GHz and a receiver frequency range of 17.7-20.2 GHz. This antenna is suitable for GSO and NGSO constellations. It has an initial acquisition of 60 sec (cold start) and an azimuth coverage of 360° (continuous). The antenna has a data rate of up to 200 Mbps and an EIRP of 49 dBW (broadside). It has a G/T ratio of 14 dB/K (broadside) and an axial ratio of less than 1.5 dB. The ThinSat Ka500 requires an input power supply of 12-36 V and has a maximum power of 300 W. It weighs 34.01 Kg and measures 33 x 33 x 5 (L x W x H). The antenna is ideal for applications such as intelligence/surveillance, homeland security, emergency management, oil and gas operations, disaster recovery, and broadcast media.
