The M7LD from Spacepath Communications is a Satellite Modem with a data rate range of 1.2 kbps to 59.04 Mbps and a symbol rate range of 2400 sps to 14.76 Msps. This modem supports BPSK, QPSK, OQPSK, 8PSK/QAM, and 16QAM demodulation types and has a frequency tuning range of 950-2150 MHz. It features an advanced IP interface with a throughput of 70000 packets per second and integrated Linux and Vyatta routing. The modem has independent demods, IF, or L-Band and a typical acquisition time of 71 ms at 64 kbps which is ideal for Managed BW systems. It supports RS-232, RS-485, SNMP, and web browser interfaces for monitoring and control and requires an input power supply of 100-240 VAC. It weighs less than 5 lbs and measures 8.5 x 11 x 1.75 inches. The modem is suitable for applications such as cellular backhaul, enterprise, IP networks, E1 trunking, on-the-move, and bandwidth on demand.
