The FLEX from Cubic Corporation is a Satellite Terminal with a transmit frequency range of 13.75-14.50 GHz and a receive frequency range of 10.95-12.75 GHz. This linear polarized Ku-band terminal has a G/T of 17 dBi/K and a linear EIRP of 49.4 dBW. It has an amplifier rated power of 25 W and requires an input supply of 10-42 VDC. The terminal is FCC licensed, Intelsat General FlexMove certified, and includes a GATR 950 iDirect modem. It has an elevation range of 5-90 degrees and an azimuth range of +/- 90 degrees. The terminal’s single airline-checkable transit case weighs less than 70 lbs and can be assembled in less than 5 Minutes. It is suitable for use in austere environments and is ideal for defense and first responders that need to establish satellite communications in difficult-to-reach locations.
