The NanoCom Link X from GomSpace is a high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) system designed to provide seamless space-to-ground segment communication. It features the NanoCom SDR MK3 equipped with a TR600 transceiver. The system includes the NanoCom ANT8250 and X-band frontend designed for transmit-only operations. It supports the X-band DVB-S2 standard and enables space link data rates of up to 50Â Mbit/sec, 150Â Mbit/sec and 225Â Mbit/sec. This SDR features an adjustable output power of up to 33Â dBm and a transmit frequency range of 8000 to 8400Â MHz in 10Â MHz steps. It measures 95 × 95 × 31.65Â mm and includes a power plane supplying the NanoCom SDR MK3, ANT2150-DUP, and ANT8250; a control plane configured via CubeSat Space Protocol over CAN for command and telemetry; and a data plane featuring three SpaceWire and one RS422 interface for data transfer.
