XLink - X Image

The XLink - X from IQ spacecom is a Software Defined Radio with an X-band Tx frequency range of 8.025-8.400 GHz and an Rx frequency range of 7.145-7.250 GHz. This advanced transceiver system has a Sat2Ground data rate of 2 kbps to 200 Mbps and a Ground2Sat data rate of greater than 56 kbps. It supports BPSK, QPSK, and OQPSK Tx modulation schemes and a BPSK with BCH coding Rx modulation scheme. The SDR works in FDD, full duplex, and half duplex operational modes and has a linear RF output power of up to +30 dBm. It requires a DC supply of 6-18 V and has a DC power consumption of less than 16 W (Tx + Rx). The SDR features the optional application of two separate Tx channels and is CCSDS-compliant for the physical and synchronization layer. It has a mass of 200-365 g and measures 90 x 65 x 25.3 mm. This high-speed SDR’s dimensions fit a 1U CubeSat as well as larger satellites and is ideal for X-band communication links of small satellites in LEO environment.
