RH3480 Image

The RH3480 from Mercury Systems is a Solid State Recorder with a SLC NAND flash memory capacity of up to 450 GB. This recorder is VPX compatible, VITA 48.2 or 78 (100 x 220 mm size) compliant, and has full drive erase capability in less than 30 seconds. It has an SRIO interface running at 3.125 Gbps and comes with abrupt power interruption protection. The recorder has a radiation-tolerance TID of greater than 100 krad and Single-event latch-up (SEL) immunity to LET of greater than 103 MeV.cm²/mg. It requires a power supply of 4.5-5.5 V and has a power consumption of up to 25 W. The RH3480 has a mass of 750 g and is designed in a compact 3U form factor measuring 160 x 100mm or 100 x 220mm size with a 1-inch pitch. It is ideally suited for LEO satellites, launch vehicles, scientific missions, missiles, airborne weapons, and mission-critical ground computing subsystems.
