The HR255/HR257 from Teledyne Relays is a Space Qualified Solid-State Relay with an operating frequency range of DC to 3 GHz. This magnetic latching DPDT relay has an insulation resistance of up to 1000 MOhms (500 Vdc) and a dielectric strength of 500 Vrms. It has an operating time of 3.0 ms and a bounce time of 4.0 ms. The relay meets the basic requirements of both the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s S-311-P-754 document and the European Space Agency’s (ESA) SCC 3601 & 3602 specifications. It features gold plated or solder-coated lead finish and has a leak rate of 1x10-6. The relay weighs 13 g and is ideal for space flight applications requiring low-level switching to dry circuits up to 2 A.
