This space actuator has a linear resolution of 17 micro-inches and a linear velocity of 0.0035 inch/sec. It has a high gear ratio gear transmission and a power consumption of up to 8 W. This space actuator has a weight of 1.2 lbs and measures 1.4 inches diameter x 6.6 inches length in dimensions. It features sealed bellow assembly at the output which is designed to operate in Cryogenic space environment.
