The High Data-Rate transmitter from Alen Space is an S-band space transmitter with a frequency range of 2200 - 2290 MHz. It has a bandwidth of 600 KHz and a data rate of up to 2 Mb/s. This TOTEM SDR-based DVB-S2 transmitter uses different modulation schemes such as QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, and 32APSK. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and has a power consumption of about 2.4 W in transmission mode. It supports multiple interfaces such as CAN, UART, I2C, and Ethernet. This onboard processing (OBP) / programmable FPGA transmitter has a mass of 130 g and is ideally designed for nanosatellites and CubeSats.
