HDRTx Image

The HDRTx from Dragonfly Aerospace is a Space Transmitter with a transmit frequency range of 8.025-8.4 GHz and a dual channel output up to 3 W of RF power per channel. It has a symbol rate of 50-300 Msps and can achieve a maximum data transmission rate of up to 1.3 Gbps per channel. This transmitter supports a dual redundant CAN TMTC interface with DVB-S2 modulation technology which enables dynamic modulation adjustments to optimize link margin and maximize data throughput. It requires a supply voltage range of 24–32 V with an output power of 17.5 W in standby mode and 25 W during transmission. The transmitter has a mass of 0.95 kg and measures 177 x 115 x 57.6 mm. It has a design life of up to 8 years in low earth orbit and ideal for low Earth orbit spacecraft.
