The 400N from Orbital Propulsion Centre is a Spacecraft Valve with a supply voltage of 21-27 V, resistance of 20 Ohms, and power consumption of 38.4 W. The flow control valve is electromagnetically controlled, with a non-sliding fit suspended armature design, and has redundant electric coils. The moving magnetic plunger is actuated with the magnetic force induced by the coil when supplied by direct current voltage. It has a latch valve mass of 545 g with a valve type of dual-coil-solenoid mono-stable bipropellant engine. This space-qualified valve has a valve burst pressure of 88 bar and an Inlet pressure of 34 bar. It is ideal for spacecraft applications for connections between the propulsion system and the ground support equipment.
