HORUS Image

The Horus from Sodern is a High Performance and Modular Star Tracker Solution which has a temporal noise on XY/Z axes of 3/22 arcseconds and supports a maximum slew rate for acquisition up to 2 deg/s and tracking less than 3 deg/s.It has a baffle sun exclusion angle of 24 deg and has a baffle earth exclusion angle of 18 deg. The star tracker offers a long operating lifetime of 10 years in LEO orbit and 18 years in GEO orbit. It has an ESA Qualified FaintStar CMOS detector with Thermo-Electric Cooler and is designed for GEO missions.
