The nanoSSOC-D60 from Solar MEMS is a Sun Sensor that has an accuracy of less than 0.5 deg (3 sigma) and a precision of less than 0.1 deg. This two-axes sun sensor has a field of view of +/- 60 degrees and a radiation tolerance of 30 kRad (gamma) and 6 MeV 3000 kRad (protons). It supports UART, I2C, or SPI electrical interfaces and requires a supply voltage of 3.3V / 5V. The sun sensor has a mass of 6.5 g and measures 43 x 14 x 5.9 mm. It is ideal for nanosatellite platforms like Cubesats for high accurate sun-tracking, pointing and attitude determination.
