The 11041 / M1 Series from Sensata Technologies is a Space Qualified Temperature Sensor that has an operating temperature range of -53.9 to 287.8 degrees C. It has a contact resistance of 0.050 Ohms and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms. This single pole / single throw thermostat has a dielectric strength of 1250 VAC and a resistive contact rating of 1-5 A (100000 cycles). It comes in a hermetically sealed case which is vacuum baked and back-filled with nitrogen. The thermostat is qualified to MIL-PRF-24236/1 and NASA S-311-P641/05 standards. It has a hermeticity of 1 x 10-8 atm cc/sec and an average weight of 4.8-5.9 g. The thermostat is ideal for applications such as anti-ice and air data sensors, aircraft heated drain masts, bleed air over temperature control, aircraft duct/galley/lavatory heaters, satellite battery heater control, and satellite propulsion line temperature control.
