The CTX SMT Series from Smiths Interconnect is a Space Qualified RF Termination with a frequency range of DC-67 GHz and a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. This RF termination features a patented layout that provides substantial power handling up to 1 W and has a maximum VSWR of 1.50:1. It uses aluminum nitride for the substrate, thin-film tantalum nitride for resistive film, and a thin-film gold over nickel for the terminal. The termination is qualified and tested as per MIL-PRF-55342 and is compliant with RoHS standards. It is ideal for supporting RF and microwave applications such as amplifier circuits, isolators, transmit/receive modules, up/down converters, instrumentation, satcom, and radar in defense, space, aerospace, and 5G broadband demanding market segments.
