The SAILOR 1000 XTR GX-R2 from Cobham Satcom is a VSAT Terminal with an Rx frequency range of 17.7- 20.2 GHz and a Tx frequency range of 27.5- 30.0 GHz. This VSAT system uses a 3-axis stabilized tracking antenna with integrated GNSS supporting GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou and has a system G/T of 20.9 dB/K. It has an EIRP of up to 57.1 dBW and a transmit gain of 47.4 dBi and a receive gain of 43.5 dBi. The VSAT system utilizes sophisticated Rapid Deployment technology and comes with an advanced RF package with a new Ka-band transceiver (XCVR) and feed horn that supports dual-polarisation and wide-band Ka. It supports RS-422, RS-232, RJ-45, and ethernet interface. It requires a system power supply of 100-240 VAC and has a power consumption of up to 180 W (For 9 W). The SAILOR GX modem unit has a mass of 3.5 kg and the above deck unit has a mass of 105 kg. The reflector measures 105 cm and the above deck unit measures 150 x 130 cm (height x diameter).
