Ku-Band Block Downconverters (Ku-Band BDCs) are used to convert high-frequency Ku-band signals (12-18 GHz) received from satellites into lower intermediate frequencies (IF) for further processing. These converters are widely used in satellite television, broadband internet, and other satellite communication systems. 

Ku-Band BDCs typically operates within: Downlink: 10.7-12.75 GHz. and Uplink: 13.75-14.5 GHz.
