Cartosat-3 is the latest and most advanced satellite in the Cartosat Series developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It represents a significant upgrade in India's remote sensing capabilities, providing higher resolution imagery and advanced technological features. It is the third generation agile advanced satellite that is used for large scale urban planning, rural resource and infrastructure development, coastal land use and land cover applications. It was launched by ISRO on 27 November 2019 at SHAR Centre, Sriharikota, India and has a mission life of 1.2 Years. This mission was carried out in PSLV-C47 launch vehicle and has a mass of 1625 Kg.
