IRS-P4 - ISRO Satellite

The IRS-P4 (OCEANSAT) is the first satellite that was primarily built by ISRO for ocean applications. It was placed in Polar Sun Synchronous orbit of 720 km from SHAR Centre, Sriharikota, India on May 26, 1999. This mission was carried out in PSLV-C2 launch vehicle and has a mass of 1050 Kg.
