The IRS-P6 also called RESOURCESAT-1 is the tenth satellite IRS series that was developed by ISRO to continue the remote sensing data services provided by IRS-1C and IRS-1D satellites. It was launched on 17 October 2003 from SHAR Centre, Sriharikota, India and has a mission life of up to 5 years. This mission was carried out in PSLV-C5 launch vehicle and has a mass of 1360 Kg.
