ESRO 4, also known as ESRO IV-A, was a scientific satellite launched by the European Space Research Organisation (ESRO). ESRO 4 was primarily a scientific mission aimed at studying the Earth's magnetosphere and cosmic radiation. It carried instruments to measure charged particles in Earth's magnetosphere and to study cosmic rays.
