Planck - ESA Satellite

The Planck satellite was a space observatory operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) to observe the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, the relic radiation from the early universe. It was launched in 2009 as part of ESA's Horizon 2000+ program and operated until 2013.
