The Swarm mission is a European Space Agency (ESA) mission designed to study Earth's magnetic field and its interaction with the Earth system. It consists of three identical satellites, collectively referred to as Swarm Alpha, Swarm Bravo, and Swarm Charlie. Launched together as a constellation, these satellites provide high-precision and high-resolution measurements of Earth's magnetic field. Swarm data is freely available to users worldwide through ESA's Earth Observation Data User Element (EO-Data) portal and other data distribution channels. This open access policy facilitates scientific research, operational applications, and international collaboration in geomagnetic studies.
