EOS-07 - ISRO Satellite

Series: EOS Series

EOS-07 is an Earth observation satellite developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as part of its efforts to enhance remote sensing capabilities for various applications. It was successfully launched on February 10, 2023 at 09:18 hours IST from the first launch pad at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. EOS-07 is designed to provide advanced remote sensing data for applications such as agriculture, forestry, soil moisture estimation, hydrology, and disaster management. It aims to offer improved spatial resolution and greater accuracy in Earth observation. The satellite is equipped with advanced imaging payloads capable of capturing high-resolution images across various spectral bands. These payloads include optical sensors and possibly multispectral or hyperspectral cameras.
