INSAT-4CR is a communication satellite operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) that aims to provide Direct-to-home (DTH) television services, Video Picture Transmission (VPT) and Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) services. The satellite was launched on 20th February 2007 from SHAR Center, Sriharikota, India and had a mission life of up to 12 years. This mission was carried out in GSLV-F04 launch vehicle and has a mass of 2130 Kg. INSAT-4CR is equipped with Ku-band transponders for broadcasting DTH television channels and providing other communication services. It provides a wide range of communication services, including television broadcasting, telecommunication links, and broadband internet access.
