The Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU), a next-generation spacesuit developed under a NASA contract for the Artemis III Moon mission. The AxEMU suit introduces improvements in mobility, safety, and modular design, and is capable of supporting both lunar surface operations and future orbital activities. The suit also integrates advanced communication systems, enhanced thermal protection, and increased adaptability for different mission profiles. Axiom Space has made history with a series of commercial human spaceflight missions. The Ax-1 mission, launched in April 2022, was the first all-private astronaut mission to the ISS, involving a crew of four civilians. This milestone demonstrated the viability of commercial space tourism and private research in orbit. The follow-up missions—Ax-2, Ax-3, and the upcoming Ax-4 build on this legacy. Each mission includes astronauts from diverse international backgrounds conducting research, technology demonstrations, and educational outreach. Additionally, Axiom continues to secure international agreements, including astronaut collaborations with agencies in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Italy, further solidifying its role in global space diplomacy and access.
