CUBESAT SEPARATION SYSTEMS

Advanced CubeSat separation systems and a family of lightweight CubeSat deployers available in 3U and 16U sizes, designed to offer optimal handling flexibility at a competitive price, with a shortened lead time. SMPOD03 is the latest SPACEMIND deployer designed to launch CubeSats up to 3U with a mass of 6kg. SMPOD16-CASPIAN is a family of deployers compatible with CubeSats up to 16U, with high flexibility on the size and mass of the satellites hosted.


CUBESAT DEORBITING SYSTEM

ARTICA (Aerodynamic Reentry Technology In CubeSat Applications) is a compact deorbiting system compatible with the CubeSat format and it can be easily assembled with any structure.

The system is based on the deployment of an aerobrake sail (2 sqm) and it is able to accelerate the decay of the orbit and safe destruction in Earth atmosphere of the satellite at the end of the mission, as an effective response to the problem of space debris.


CUBESAT SUBSYSTEMS

Cubesat Structures: SM CubeSat structure is a family of CubeSat structures (1U-2U-3U-6U-8U-12U) designed by NPC SPACEMIND in order to provide a modular and flexible solution for nanosatellite applications. The product is designed to be fully compliant with commercial off the shelf and custom-made CubeSat components.

Solar Panels: SPM-SP is a family of Solar Panels designed by NPC SPACEMIND in order to provide a modular and flexible solution for nanosatellite applications. The product is designed to be fully compliant with SM CubeSat Structures as well as with commercial off the shelf and custom-made CubeSat components.

GEMINI - CubeSat EPS: GEMINI is SPACEMIND’s Electrical Power System designed for CubeSats missions. It features an integrated battery pack module with a wide range of fully customizable input and output channels. SPACEMIND’s EPS has industry-leading performance and is fully compliant with the CubeSat standard.

GSE and Tests: SM-TESTPODS are designed to perform mechanical structural qualification of CubeSat platforms. Qualified to guarantee the maximum rigidity required associated with a mass compatible with common shakers available in test facilities.
