Gilmour Space Technologies has officially joined the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 in Sydney. The IAC is the world’s largest space conference, bringing together leaders from industry, government, and academia to explore ideas and opportunities that advance space for the benefit of all.
During the IAC, the company welcomed Australia’s Minister for Industry & Innovation and Minister for Science, Tim Ayres MP; Australian Space Agency head, Enrico Palermo; and Space Industry Association of Australia CEO, Dan Lloyd, to its booth in the Australia Zone showcasing its Australian satellite platforms and dedicated and rideshare launch services to orbit.
Gilmour Space leaders also took part in key sessions:
- CFO Ashley Hasforth spoke on financial viability and profitability in space business models alongside the European Space Agency (ESA), Australian Space Agency, and OHB.
- In Late Breaking News, CEO Adam Gilmour reflected on the journey and lessons learned from launching Australia’s first orbital test rocket, a landmark moment for the nation’s sovereign launch capability.
