CML Micro Showcases Satellite Communications Semiconductor Portfolio at SATShow 2026

CML Micro, a leading developer of mixed-signal, RF, and microwave semiconductors for global communications markets, is showcasing its satellite communications semiconductor portfolio at SATShow 2026 for the first time. The event, which brings together commercial innovators, government organisations, defence leaders and technology suppliers from across the aerospace ecosystem, is taking place in Washington D.C from 23–26 March. CML Micro will be exhibiting alongside distribution partner RFMW at Booth 1658.

Ion Furtuna, Senior VP Channel Strategy & Partnerships, will represent CML Micro at the event alongside Juan Alvarado, Regional Sales Director for the US and they will be engaging with partners, customers and industry stakeholders throughout the week.

CML Micro designs and builds high-performance communication semiconductors for a wide range of satellite and space applications. Its portfolio includes GaAs and GaN RF and mmWave devices spanning key satellite frequency bands, including Ku-, K- and Ka-band, enabling deployment across satellite payloads, gateways, SatCom terminals and next-generation constellations.

Power amplifiers on display at the booth include:

MMA-121633-M5 - a 12.5–15.5GHz 2W power amplifier, designed to deliver high efficiency and linearity for demanding satellite communications applications

CMX90A705 - a 27.5–31GHz 5.5W Ka-band GaN power amplifier, designed to deliver high efficiency and linearity for demanding satellite communications systems

Over the course of the event, CML Micro will also spotlight its flagship MMA-273336D-M5. This 27–33GHz, 4W MMIC power amplifier represents its most powerful satcom solution to date. It can also be used as a standalone device or a building block for high-power solutions. Beyond these featured products, CML Micro offers a range of wideband gain blocks and power amplifiers developed for high-frequency, high-linearity performance. These solutions help RF engineers and system designers to meet increasing demands for bandwidth, efficiency and reliability across both spaceborne platforms and ground infrastructure.

These devices can also be delivered through defined screening and space-qualification pathways to meet the stringent requirements of advanced aerospace and satellite programmes. They support mission-critical communications, including satellite-enabled data links, defence communications networks, and applications in military, emergency response and disaster recovery environments.

“The satellite market is evolving rapidly as operators continue to deploy higher-capacity constellations and increasingly sophisticated ground infrastructure,” said Ion Furtuna, VP Channel Strategy & Partnerships at CML Micro.SATShow provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how our suite of GaAs and GaN RF products help facilitate next-generation satellite communications systems.”

Visitors to the tradeshow are invited to meet with CML Micro’s senior team to discuss the company’s extensive range of GaAs and GaN RF and mmWave semiconductor technologies and how they address evolving performance and reliability requirements in modern satellite communications systems. Those unable to attend SATShow can reach out directly to CML Micro or its distributor RFMW to learn more about its products, design support, and service capabilities.
