Exolaunch Signs Contract for Two Falcon 9 Missions with SpaceX for Smallsat Launches

Exolaunch, a global leader in launch mission management, integration and satellite deployment technologies, announced they have signed a contract with SpaceX for two Falcon 9 launches, marking a major expansion of the company's launch capabilities and establishing a new class of launch access for global satellite operators. The two Falcon 9 missions, Exo-1 and Exo-2, are scheduled to launch no earlier than late 2027 and 2028, respectively. These missions will facilitate constellation deployments, governmental programs and large-scale launch campaigns at a time of increasing launch demand across the global launch market.

The missions will be flown with the company's flight-proven deployment technologies, including EXOtube modular payload stacks, providing optimal satellite accommodation, launch vehicle utilization and launch campaign efficiency for constellations and rideshare customers. The modular architecture of the EXOtube incorporates Exolaunch's flight-proven deployment technologies, including CarboNIX and CarboNIX NEO separation rings, Quadro four-point separation systems and standalone HDRM deployment solutions, all together suited for satellites from 20kg to 1,400kg and beyond. In addition, EXOtubes accommodate the full range of cubesats through Exolaunch's lightweight EXOpod Air deployers as well as EXOpod Nova for high-mass, high-volume cubesat missions.

“For the first time, Exolaunch has procured dedicated launches from SpaceX to create new shared launch opportunities for the industry,” said Jeanne Allarie, Chief Investor Relations Officer at Exolaunch. “With Exo-1 and Exo-2, our customers will have predictable and reliable launch opportunities enabled by Exolaunch and our ecosystem of flight-proven deployment technologies, including EXOtube. We thank SpaceX, our customers and the entire Exolaunch team for making it happen!”

On these missions, Exolaunch will provide a fully integrated launch architecture built on a proven heritage of nearly 800 satellites deployed across multiple launch vehicles, extensive rideshare expertise and German engineering.

“Demand for reliable and scalable access to space continues to accelerate,” said Kier Fortier, Chief Revenue Officer at Exolaunch. “Exolaunch is expanding launch opportunities for the industry. The Exo-1 and Exo-2 missions will help address the launch needs of the market while we continue to deliver the execution, heritage and customer focus that define our business.”

Exolaunch welcomes satellite manufacturers, constellation operators, government institutions and space organizations seeking rideshare opportunities to engage with the team as new launch opportunities become available.
