The RSCC-8 from WORK Microwave is a SATCOM Redundancy Switch with a frequency range of 40 MHz to 2.2 GHz. This switch has an isolation of 70 to 75 dB and an insertion loss of 4.5 to 6.2 dB. It has an automatic and manual switchover and supports RS-232, RS422, RS-485, and TCP/IP over Ethernet interfaces. This redundancy switch a compact solution for an 8:1 redundancy system and uses 2 power supplies, BNC (female) and SMA (female) connectors. The switching system has a switching speed of 100-400 mS and an impedance of 50-75 Ohms. It requires an input supply of 240 V AC and has a maximum power consumption of 7 W. The switch has a mass of 5.5 kg and measures 483 x 44 x 470 mm. It is ideal for upconverters and downconverters with integrated uplink power control.
