Welcome to the 10th edition of the International Conference on Space Optical Systems and Applications (2025 IEEE ICSOS). We are excited to announce that this year's conference will take place in the historic and culturally rich city of Kyoto, Japan, from October 28 to 31, 2025. IEEE ICSOS serves as a key platform for exploring a wide array of technologies, procedures, and algorithms related to free-space laser communications for terrestrial, near-Earth, and deep-space applications. Our focus areas include subsystems, devices, components, laboratory and field demonstrations, signaling techniques, algorithms, link models, systems (both flight and ground), and concepts of operations.
