The SWF-G1S-KX-115 from ETL Systems is a 2+1 Redundant Block Upconverter designed for dependable frequency conversion and signal redundancy in satellite communication and broadcast uplink systems. It converts an input frequency range of 10 to 15 GHz to an output frequency range of 10 MHz to 2.45 GHz, enabling efficient signal translation for a variety of RF transmission applications. Its redundant architecture ensures continuous operation in mission-critical environments where uptime and reliability are essential.

This block upconverter provides an insertion loss of up to 1.6 dB with loss variation of ±0.50 dB, ensuring stable and efficient signal performance. It offers input and output return loss of up to -16 dB along with isolation of more than 55 dB, helping to maintain signal integrity while minimizing interference between channels. The unit features field-replaceable redundant modules and supports hot-swap RF frequency converter modules, allowing rapid maintenance and reduced system downtime.

Designed for flexible control and operational convenience, the system includes local monitoring and control through an HMI touchscreen interface. It also supports remote management via an RJ45 Ethernet port with SNMP and web browser access for simplified network integration. Housed in a compact 1U high chassis with capacity for one redundancy switch and three converter modules, the SWF-G1S-KX-115 is ideal for modern teleport, broadcast and satellite ground infrastructure requiring scalable and highly reliable frequency conversion.
